Thankyou Christ.. -which righteousness do you have, of man/ of the law/of God. -Job righteous outside the law was of good morals. -Job as a sinner has nothing good, always wanting rewards. Faith is about what we haven't seen,its in heaven. -Man with all effort is not good enough.We need2,believe& recieve imputed righteousness -Self/ morallyrighteous/man approved ignores God.recives no eternal life,on NT priest doesn't die, offering blood of bulls. You're a sinner if you follow law. -Gal 2 we're not justified by law/flesh. Vanity= no eternal life - men of high degree Psa62.9 are a lie. - law was dung, filthy . offering blood of bulls= vanity

I want to thank God for the Job series sermon. I learnt about the three types of Righteousness- 1.Righteousness of God from Romans 10-1-3. This is the highest form of righteousness. 2.Righteousness from.the law on Phil 3:9 3.Righteousness of man S illustrated by Noah.s righteousness before the law on Gen 7:1. Job.s righteousness is in the righteouness of man which is the least form.of righteousness.We see Job.s mistake on Job 10: saying the Lord should not condemn him he is not wicked.On Job 31:6 Job says if he is weighed on a just scale God will see his integrity.We see job measuring himself against himself (2cor 10:12).His own righteousness is like filthy rags and according to Psalm 62:9 Job is a man of low degree and vanity.If he is weighed on the scale of God he is lesser than vanity.

This is reslly so hard to diiscern. When i see someone going through paon I am left wondering if they are going through a Job event or a Judas event. I have mde the gross mistake before of judging someone guilty when they did nothing to deserve it. I thinl often we assume we "know" someone did something wrong to deserve thrir paon. But if they are Job, they did nothing. God was testing them. I thinl sometimes God is testing me too, watching to see if I am merciful to people's pain. And even if they are guilty, i shouĺd still br mercoful.
